Kolkata- The West Bengal HS Result 2026 has been officially announced today by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). Students who appeared for the Class 12 Higher Secondary Examination can now check their results online.

- Overall Pass Percentage: 91.23%
- Girls Pass Percentage: 92.47%
- Boys Pass Percentage: 89.79%
- Total Students Appeared: More than 7 lakh
Girls have once again outperformed boys, maintaining their strong performance streak in the state board exams.

Students are advised to keep their admit cards ready to avoid any last-minute delays while checking the results online. The provisional marksheet can be used for immediate admission purposes until the original certificates are issued by schools.

- Go to official websites — result.wb.gov.in or wbchse.wb.gov.in
- Click on the WB HS / Class 12 Result 2026 link
- Enter your Roll Number and Registration Number
- Click Submit and download your marksheet
Important: The online result is provisional. Original marksheets and certificates will be distributed through schools starting today.
What’s Next for Students?
Successful students can now proceed with college admissions and counselling. Students who did not clear the exam can prepare for the supplementary (compartment) examinations. The board is expected to release the supplementary exam schedule soon.
